NERF Mk S Adjustable Sight - “Meaker Peaker”

I wanted a basic adjustable scope, so I created this design. It uses #6 screws and glue, with no support required. Print one of each part except the wheel, print two of those. Assembly should take about 30g/2hr depending on your settings and machine capabilities. Assembly is as follows: - Press-fit the elevation bar into the front of the frame, sand/file/shave as needed. - Fit the windage wheel into the opening at the rear of the frame. - If desired, bore out the four holes in the corners of the frame and rail adapter so that a piece of filament will fit into both. - Glue the rail adapter to the frame. - If you want a cover, check the snap fit of the cover over the elevation piece, sand/file/shave as needed. Optionally, glue the cover to the frame. The cover adds tension to the elevation piece and is useful for quick peek-sights. While waiting for the glue to dry, verify that the windage and elevation pieces move freely. Then screw the wheels to each side of the elevation piece to desired tightness and screw the windage wheel to the frame. To install, place over a picatinny rail in your desired location and drive two screws or bolts through the picatinny rail adapter into the picatinny rail plug until tight. Twisting the side knob moves the elevation bar up/down/over to tip blaster angle down/up/up at a longer view angle. Twisting the windage knob adjusts left-right tracking. Everything is loosely held in by friction and screw tension. It's possible that it will lose positioning, but for my testing, it was adequate and withstood abuse. Adding tension to the parts by roughing up surfaces or adding shims should be possible. Files are for personal use only, except for those without a printer who wish to commission a print from someone else.
