Talon Mag Holders Available in Four Different Versions Loose fit, Double Stack Loose fit, Tight fit, and Double Stack Tight fit options are available for users to choose from. All holders come with MOLLE attachments as standard, allowing for versatile belt compatibility. Users can easily attach the holders to their belts or other gear using the MOLLE system. Thanks go to Foamblast for providing valuable insights on how to design MOLLE parts without support in 3D printing. This expertise has been instrumental in refining the design and ensuring its printability. The loose fit version is a personal favorite, as it provides a secure hold for the magazine even when subjected to extreme movements such as jumping or running. However, users can also opt for a tighter fit if preferred. A suggested approach is to print out both loose and tight versions to gauge which one works best for individual needs. The looser fit may be ideal for some users, but it's essential to note that printer settings and quality can affect the holder's performance. The horizontal version requires careful consideration due to its design feature of bridging a small gap on the MOLLE mounts. Users with printers prone to bridge failures should consider enabling supports for this version. Version 1.61 has been updated by Grumpbeard, while Version 1.6 features mod E versions and altered MOLLE mounts with a ramp for easier speed clip threading. Horizontal MOLLE Mounts have been added in Version 1.5, and the initial release is marked as Version 1. This design remains a work-in-progress.
