These knobs always seem to slip away from me. Luckily, my 3D printer comes to the rescue! To put it together, I grabbed a piece of steel rod from the hardware store. Before attaching the knob, I sanded down the rod slightly to make sure it was silky smooth. Next, I used a hairdryer to heat up the knob, then pressed the rod into place. For an extra secure connection, you can also use super glue. Since the length of the rod varies between longshot, vulcan, and centurion, I ended up sticking the rod through and eyeballing it. So far, it's working great! Print Settings Printer: D-bot Rafts: It doesn't matter. Supports: It doesn't matter. Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: I printed mine with a 0.8mm nozzle. The key thing is that the layers stick together well... if your printer has subpar layer adhesion, the knob might shatter along the z-axis while in use.
