2020-02-08 Update: I encountered a setback with my barrel slide, which suggests that interference may have occurred between the adapter and the cylinder of the slide. To address this issue, I widened the moving clearance in Barrel Slide V2 by adjusting the adapter and thickening the cylinder. Additionally, I lengthened the tang to keep the ammo in place. Further testing is still required. I also observed that my mag adapter doesn't work with all rival magazines. It functions seamlessly with five of mine but fails to lock into the Hera magazine that came with it, and I have yet to pinpoint the reason for this discrepancy. Original Post: This is a customized Nerf Rival Kronos mod, which necessitates permanent modification of your blaster. I manufactured this using ABS on a solidoodle 2. Check out my gameplay footage here: https://youtu.be/o51vtE49scc Part List: Mag Adaptor Barrel Slide Mag Release Lever (I adapted Captain Slug's design from his Rival Burn, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2886104 ) Extension Spring (I utilized a spare one I had, measuring 11/64 in. Dia., 5/8 in. Length) Epoxy Glue Instructions: 1) Remove the old internal magazine. 2) Attach barrel slide to the internal orange piece where the old internal magazine was. 3) Cut out the shell to accommodate the mag adaptor and allow the slide to move backwards freely. 4) Use the pin from the Kronos loading door to secure the mag release lever. (You may need to drill it out.) 5) Attach the extension spring to the mag release lever. 6) Screw the extension spring into the mag adaptor.
