Nerf Kriss Vector
thingiverse
An accurate replica of the Kriss Vector, scaled to fit Nerf standards. It's a Worker Talon mag-only blaster, firing short darts with an FTW Hyperdrive Solenoid as its firing mechanism. The internal components are designed for Worker Hurricane wheels, but might work with Fettewurst's Woozie wheels as well. Overall, this project is a pain to assemble, very ergonomic, and extremely fun to operate. These files are being offered without support, so don't expect much help after they're released. Sorry guys, I'm done with this project for now. The files should be properly oriented for printing, but if you encounter issues, feel free to reach out. You'll need a large printer for this job, since the Upper frame is a single piece and other parts are similarly sized. The Lower part might require adjustments for its position. As it's currently set up, it has the least number of supports needed, but requires good cooling and a brim. It may also benefit from being placed flat on the bed due to the limitations of my print setup. The top pin is known to be a trouble spot, so if it doesn't fit properly, don't be surprised. The solenoid mount screw holes seem to misalign depending on the print quality, so keep that in mind as well. Hardware used includes M2.6 self-tapping screws and 6/32 for stock parts. The stock catch may need some filing to work correctly. It looks fine on the computer model, but things don't always translate perfectly to real life. The lock works in its normal position, but won't engage when folded, so take note of that. I used Honey Badger motors, but any 130 should suffice for this project. Be careful while wiring to keep all wires on the right side, as there are designated channels for them. Assembling this blaster may be a challenge due to its complexity. The mag release and trigger both use compression springs, but I didn't source them properly, so you'll need to experiment with that. The trigger should use .25" diameter springs, while the mag release requires wider ones. If you appreciate my work, consider supporting me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/mhparms
