Nerf Hyperfire Belt
thingiverse
This is an innovative replacement for the Nerf Hyperfire pusher belt. ---8/20/18 Update: Having faced numerous setbacks, I decided to update and upload the file as a way of catharsis. The latest iteration boasts two significant changes: larger pusher nubs and strategically placing those nubs to minimize slippage in theory. I have yet to develop a viable casting method, but this should change soon as I will have more time once I settle into my new location. This update will be posted within the next month! ---Original post from 6/30/18: I took precise measurements of an existing Hyperfire belt and replicated its design features, including the number of teeth and diameter. This design has been printed in PLA and can also be printed in other flexible materials. Currently, it may serve as a mold for casting silicone rubber or other various materials to test. If you print this out in something like Ninjaflex and it works, please let me know! That would make this project complete, and I'd say it's no longer a work in progress. I'm also planning on experimenting with the design to improve dart slippage/reliability, but only after I can print something similar to the original.
