Nerf Hyperfire Battery Cover - w/ Volmeter Port or Simple
cults3d
Pretty simple -- I needed a replacement battery cover for a Nerf Hailfire blaster. Printed the one that was already published but it was not a good fit. Decided to incorporate a voltmeter (13mm x 22.6mm) into the one I printed but also left a simple flat cover for those who prefer. I doubt the voltmeter will fit with the D-size batteries but will fit with many LiPo or other replacement batteries. You need to print the cover as well as the "clips" which are the raised parts that connect into the blaster - easier to print them separately (also lets you modify the clips without re-printing the whole battery cover). The clips as well as a voltmeter are a very tight press-fit (may need a dab of glue on the screw plate clips). I actually had to file a bevel at the start of the voltmeter hole a bit to get it to slip in and definitely do not need glue (don't put it in upside down or anything because you will struggle to get it out). May just need to make sure your corners are not curved since that is where it rubs I think.
