The friction fit cap is specifically designed for a 1/2-inch schedule 40 PVC hopper. To assemble this cap, you'll need one #4-40 x 3/4-inch long screw to secure the hinge. To address issues with the top piece blowing out after repeated use, I've updated it to ensure a better friction fit. In version V5.0, which has undergone extensive internal testing, I've made adjustments to accommodate a 13/16 inch ID and 15/16 inch OD O-ring for improved sealing. As of October 19th, 2018, the latest design incorporates an O-Ring seal, and alternative options include using a 7/16 inch ID and 5/8 inch OD or a 3/8 inch ID and 9/16 inch OD.
