This is my first attempt at crafting a Nerf foam dart gun, dubbed "Version 1." The goal was to create a Nerf gun that can be printed on almost any printer. My reasoning behind this endeavor stems from the limitations of my HobbyKing Turnigy Fabrikator Mini aka TinyBoy, which boasts a print volume of only 80x80x80mm. This constraint presents challenges when designing larger parts I'd like to print. DO NOT PRINT Unfortunately, this gun will not fire darts at speeds that would be enjoyable. The small components meant to hold the two barrels together tend to break off upon firing the gun. As such, only print it if you appreciate the design and plan to use it as a prop gun for cosplay or other purposes. Shopping List: * 126mm tube (electrical) with an outer diameter of 16mm / 5/8" (OD 16mm, ID 13.5mm) * O-Ring with an inner diameter of approximately 13x2mm * One spring with an outer diameter of 15mm, an inner diameter of 12mm, and a length of 51mm * One spring from a ballpen, cut in half, with both halves used * Two socket screws measuring 3x12mm * Two countersunk screws measuring 3x6mm * Seven countersunk screws measuring 3x12mm * One countersunk screw measuring 4x10mm Print Settings: * Printer: Fabrikator Mini * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.1 / 0.2 * Infill: 25% / 100% * Notes: Printed in PLA. I printed the Trigger, Trigger protection, Piston, Piston shaft, and Lock at a layer thickness of 0.1mm with 100% infill. The remaining parts were printed at a layer thickness of 0.2mm with 25% infill. The total print time was 25 hours and 26 minutes. Post-Printing: This Nerf foam dart gun was designed using Solidworks.
