Nerf Elite 2.0 Motoblitz Flared Magwell
thingiverse
The Elite 2.0 Motoblitz is one of (if not the) most popular of its series, and for good reason. However, as a bullpup, I found it annoying to not have a flared magwell. So I designed one. This is a flared magwell that attaches to the bottom of the shell. I had originally considered making it a drop-in replacement for the existing blue piece, but that requires very high tolerances I cannot design around. There are currently two attachment methods. One requires a shell cut for a tab and two self-tapping screws approximately the size of a normal nerf shell screw. The steps for installing this version are in the images, and the model to use for that is (Screws). The other option is simply to superglue/hotglue/epoxy the two halves of the magwell to the shell. The steps should be relatively intuitive, and the version to use is (Two Pieces). I have also included the STEP files for the plain magwell for anyone to edit easily, in case they want to design their own attachment method. The file is (Plain). Both of my attachment choices are designed to allow you to open the shell after installment. Every version of this print requires **zero supports**. For the (Screws) version, the screwholes have a built in single-layer support that your printer will print properly, given your **layers are no taller than 0.25mm**. Note: you cannot use a 35rd Raider drum with this magwell. Not that anyone should want to on a bullpup, but in case you do, you can't. Please let me know if there are any issues with the model or if you have suggestions. Thank you, and happy nerfing!
