Be aware that you are taking a risk when modifying any Nerf darts; use common sense and proceed with caution. Here is how to modify your dart for the new tip: Before proceeding, print the new tip in red ABS plastic and then give it a professional-looking finish using acetone vapor to smoothen it out. When I created this pointed tip for my customized Nerf gun, I used a print resolution of 0.2 layer thickness with 25% infill, but you may experiment with different settings depending on your preference. You can either purchase or print the pin yourself, attach it to the new point of the dart on the opposite side of the original tip, and use contact cement to firmly bond the new tip in place. Finish off the job by carefully cutting away the old tip so that the modified dart matches your Nerf gun's precision design.
