This doughnut-shaped spacer boosts your Nerf CycloneShock's power by compressing the spring an additional 11 mm, thereby increasing tension significantly. The results are quite evident, although replacing the spring altogether yields even better performance. To install this upgrade, take apart your blaster (numerous YouTube tutorials walk you through this process) and remove the plunger assembly, which includes the telescoping component with the spring attached. Next, detach the plunger head by unscrewing the single screw at the top; be prepared to gently pry off the orange plastic piece covering the white part where the spring resides. Remove the spring from its mounting point on the white telescoping piece and insert the spacer in its place. Then, reattach the spring and follow the reverse steps to reassemble your blaster. The spacer will come into contact with the red plastic component that formerly housed the spring.
