Nerf Caliburn - SCAR barrel
thingiverse
CHANGE NOTE: 04/15/18 - A new "Jam Nut" is added to lock the setting for the front half of the assembly. CHANGE NOTE: 04/09/18 - Two halves now attach using printed screw features on both parts. Insert a 4-40 screw into the hole in the "fin" of the front half and align it with the interrupt in the thread. Use this same screw to lock the front half once you've set the desired length. The same method is used to adjust and then lock in the desired "twist". CHANGE NOTE: 2/19/18 - A 3-lug locking feature is added to both halves, keeping the assembly together. CHANGE NOTE: 1/20/18 - Nested locknuts are now used to avoid tapping holes for screws. CHANGE NOTE: 12/07/17 - Instructions are added. CHANGE NOTE: 12/06/17 - The seam line between parts is changed to be at the midway point, allowing printing on a printer build area of 120x120x120mm. A Nerf Caliburn specific SCAR barrel includes a string threading tool that needs to be glued onto the end of a 1/16" diameter weld rod (or other long stick) to make a noose wand.
