Nerf Barricade - extended battery door for LiPO batteries

thingiverse

I'm going to create an extended battery door for the Nerf Barracade, allowing users to add larger batteries like LIPO packs. Check out this photo where I've managed to fit an 8.4v 2s LiPo pack and a LiPo alarm inside. My design is optimized to accommodate a small 3s pack without the alarm. Please note that my stock Nerf screw was slightly too short, so I ended up using a longer M3 screw - your results may vary! I'd love to see photos of your prints, as it's great to learn how people's print settings impact my designs. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.28 Infill: 20% Notes: Print with the tabs facing down on the bed. If your printer is performing well, it should be able to bridge the top part without any issues - especially when using PLA. ABS may not bridge as well. This design doesn't require a lot of infill or high detail resolution.
