I was browsing through the net for cool attachments to the Nerf shotgun and stumbled upon this on Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/se-en/listing/220603862/3d-printed-spare-bombmissile-holder-for?ref=shop_home_active_38 Decided to put my own spin on the same idea and created a unique attachment of my own. It prints well and works seamlessly with the new tactical rail, featuring a bouncy stop peg. It can also be adapted for use with older, more solid stops, but may require some minor adjustments using sanding paper. I printed this attachment with a 0.5mm nozzle in PLA, utilizing 0.3mm layers. To print it efficiently, I divided the model into two parts and reassembled them once they were complete. The week spot of the design is the rail, so I added some extra strength by applying friction welding to that area. Print Settings Printer: RepRap Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.3mm layer and 0.5mm nozzle Infill: 10 Post-Printing Glue the model together securely. If glue is insufficient, use friction weld at the base to secure the parts. How I Designed This I created the parts using OpenSCAD. 20170106: Attached the SCAD drawings for you to modify as needed.
