Nerdy Gurdy 6.3 Adjustable 3D Printed Bridge

The newer Basic and Linotte models use an adjustable 3D printed bridge; this is a version of that bridge style that can be used in place of the wooden bridge on the Nerdy Gurdy 6.3. It gives more adjustment up and down than the original bridge and easily adjusts while loaded by the strings. To make this I pulled up the model of the NGB bridge, then modified it to have the right width for the 6.3 string spacing. Since most people are using the stock tailpiece I added a raised section with a corresponding groove to engage with the bridge retaining arm of the tailpiece. For those who want to use a wire for retaining the bridge there is a provision for that, and under the feet there are small holes you could use to install short nails that could engage in matching holes on the top plate to act as pins locating the bottom of the bridge. There are two versions. The first has symmetrical sloping sides. This will need some support material at the narrowed bridge retention area, so it comes out a little scruffy in that area due to the supports. The second has one perpendicular side & one sloping (similar to the current Linotte bridge). This way no additional support material is needed for the surfaces. And the sloped version gives a little more access to the drone bridge and buzzing bridge adjustment screws if you put the sloped side toward the wheel.Lay these on their side for printing, with the openings for the nuts pointed up. There's still some support material needed for the recesses for the adjustment screws, so turn on supports in your slicer. You'll need two M3x10mm screws and two M3 nuts. To install the bridge on the tailpiece you need adjust both sides to the maximum height, then slip the tailpiece into place in the slots. It takes some fiddling around but it will fit. Then you can adjust it back down.I've printed both versions and tried the sloped one in both orientations, there's no noticeable difference in sound as far as I can tell. It does adjust nicely though.
