Nerdy Clocks - Cozy Shire (easy multicolor printing!)

myminifactory

Nerdy clock designed for easy support-free multicolour printing even without a multimaterial unit! Colour shifts are all set to layer height so there is no need to swap between colours on a single layer. With a multimaterial unit, this drastically reduces waste from frequent colour changes and can print without the need for a purge tower! Files include pre-split and merged clock files in .stl and .3mf format as well as individual part files. No multimaterial unit? Just pause your print at the correct layer height and swap out your filament. Or better yet, insert a pause at layer height command into your gcode! The colour shifts should occur at 6.2mm, 7,2mm, and 10.2mm z-heights. You can insert filament change gcodes at those layers. I find this is the easiest to do with Bambu Studio but you should be able to look up how to insert filament change gcodes with your preferred slicer. There is also the .3mf file that has the parts split and colour coded already. This clock is 250mm round and 12mm high. Can be resized the 220mm to print on Ender3-sized printers and still work with generic clock mechanisms. Feel free to reach out and ask about recommended clock mechanisms.
