Nerdtronic Vent System - Ventilation Box
thingiverse
This is a ventilation box designed to extract fumes from a 3D printer and direct them outside through a 4-inch dryer hose attached to the wall. It features two intake tubes, allowing for the connection of two 3-inch hoses, making it suitable for printers with multiple exhaust fans, such as the Phrozen Transform. This project was showcased on my YouTube channel, Nerdtronic. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZBQ82XvDAtOyDXaUOrmaOw The video linked below demonstrates this design in action: https://youtu.be/Lm73O-6UqcY The version featured in the video has undergone minor modifications from the original design. The necessary components include a vent hood (available at Lowe's) and a fan, which can be found on Amazon. To assemble this project, refer to the video for detailed instructions. Note that I recommend using anchors when attaching the ventilation box to drywall and suggest using wood screws for optimal results. This design was printed using a resin printer and required supports and angled printing due to its complexity. Feel free to adapt or modify the design as needed; simply let me know if you do so. If you install this system, I'd appreciate receiving photos of your project at michael@nerdtronic3d.com
