Nerd Bot Version 1

Nerd Bot Version 1

thingiverse

This is my entry to the Chip-E competition! I drew inspiration from vintage robot shows that I used to watch, and I'm really into the nerdy vibe of robots. Check out this link if you want to get the arms moving freely: https://www.mcmaster.com/#60355k502/=18hi3sv The bearings I used are specifically designed for 3/16-inch shaft diameter and have a 1/2-inch outer diameter. I created my design using SolidWorks. Here's how I built it: First, download all the necessary files. Next, convert them to .SLDPRT format. Once that's done, create an original assembly and then duplicate it as a modified version. Using one component, build the foundation and then add the rest of the assembly.
