This is an FPV quadcopter frame based on several key ideas: - independent arms (simplifying the printing process) - support for up to 7 inch props - long range capabilities - a lightweight design (the initial target was 120 grams, but stiff frames require high infill settings) - a stiff frame structure - vertical arms with aerodynamic profiles - ability to carry an HD camera (a hybrid solution like Runcam Split or Caddx Turtle is used due to design constraints) - GPS compatibility - low RF interference thanks to the absence of carbon materials, ideal for long range flights - brushless motors up to 23XX size - a 16x16 mm motor mount pattern To print this frame: Arms - four identical arms are required. The strongest and stiffest material your printer can handle, such as PETG, is recommended. Plate - This part holds the four arms together and should be printed with similar stiffness to the arms. Battery Holder - Attached to the bottom of the frame, this part features slots for the battery strap and requires flexible materials like TPU. Top - The top section houses the camera (Runcam Split or Caddx Turtle), GPS antenna, and VTX antenna. It should be printed with flexible materials like TPU and has a 25 degree tilt. Required Hardware: - Four 35mm standoffs for a four-layer board stack - Four 16x3mm bolts and four M3 nylock nuts to secure the arms together - Four 12x3mm bolts and four M3 nylock nuts to attach the plate to the arms - Eight M3 washers used on the bottom - Eight 12x3mm bolts for standoffs on both top and bottom sides Total Weight with a Graphene 6s 1000mAh battery is approximately 652 grams.
