I thoroughly enjoyed Robert's initial scan, but wanted to experiment with carving this piece on my CNC machine, requiring me to repair numerous model holes and imperfections. As I've been self-teaching myself Sculptris, I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to hone my skills there first. Unfortunately, unlike its more advanced counterpart Z-Brush, Sculptris lacks a robust mirror tool, forcing me to mirror the entire left side in order to rectify the missing pieces on the right side. Following that, I performed a significant amount of clean-up, smoothing, and definition enhancement. I'm genuinely pleased with how this turned out, and it's not too shabby for my first attempt at Sculptris.
