NeoPixel Stick Diffuser

NeoPixel Stick Diffuser

This design was inspired by user Protowerkstatt and NeoPixel Bargraph, thing number 2783648. I recreated the original concept from scratch and incorporated cylinders to shape the light emitted from each LED. This project is specifically designed for use with Adafruit's NeoPixel sticks, which feature eight pixels per stick. The design includes a raised, hollow cylinder that can diffuse light in two different ways, altering its shape and appearance: * When mounted with the NeoPixel elements directly over the cylinders, the resulting shape is round. * Conversely, when the stick is mounted in the opposite direction (LEDs not directly above the cylinders), the shape takes on a more oblong and fuzzy form, giving it a bubble-like effect. To test this design, users can employ the Arduino Adafruit NeoPixel library example, strandtest. To achieve the desired results: * Set the number of LEDs to eight. * Comment out all function calls except for TheaterChase. * Opt for blue as the color that best resembles bubbles. * Modify the time in the function call (main loop) from 50 to 110. The design features cut-outs at each end of the diffuser, allowing it to be easily chain-able and enabling users to add more units with ease.
