Several individuals have brought issues with the included mounting ring for the NeoPixel rings (16 and 24) and GEMMA to light. This solution employs small zip ties to securely fasten everything together. It has a smaller diameter, making it effortless to insert. The printed respirator barrel's inner diameter was measured, along with the inner and outer diameters of the 16 and 24 LED NeoPixel rings. Based on this information, I created a lightweight ring holder. To attach the NeoPixel rings, use two zip ties - wrap each one around both rings at a point between the LEDs. Another zip tie is needed for the GEMMA; place it on the back side of the ring holder. The wires from the rings can be connected to a 10-pin connector, and the matching GEMMA wires can be attached to a mating connector. This setup enables us to quickly remove or replace the GEMMA without the need for resoldering - an important consideration in case something goes awry with the electronics.
