Neopixel Display Bezel Tile
thingiverse
This is a prototype for my unique 42 x 7 Neopixel Message Display. The display utilizes a single Neopixel strip, consisting of 60 WS2812 LEDs per meter, carefully divided into seven rows and forty-two individual pixels. A custom-made tile serves as a divider between each pixel, creating a snug fit against the rear of an "opal" polycarbonate sheet. This results in perfectly rounded, ultra-bright light dots from each pixel with no visible light bleed between adjacent pixels. A border is strategically placed on two sides of the tile to ensure proper spacing between adjacent tiles. The pitch between each pixel is precisely 16.5mm, while the material used has a minimum thickness of 0.8mm, allowing for easy cutting with a sharp knife in just a few passes.
