Neopixel Control Box
thingiverse
This is an enclosure designed to manage Neopixel strips effectively. The enclosure contains an Arduino, 4 RJ45 keystones, 2 momentary buttons, and 2 latch buttons, all strategically positioned for optimal functionality. Neopixel strips are connected directly to the Arduino via cat5 cables through the RJ45 keystones, enabling seamless integration and control. Pressing the green latch button enables the lights to be used immediately, effectively serving as an On/Off switch. The white latch button, when pressed, instantly changes all neopixels to full White, providing a dramatic visual effect. The red momentary button triggers a programmed sequence that mimics the appearance of fire, adding a dynamic element to the display. The blue momentary button switches control of the neopixels to a computer, allowing for remote control via USB and the Arduino's serial communications.
