NeoPixel Bike Light
youmagine
Build a futuristic bike light using Adafruit Feather and NeoPixels. The headlight design was inspired by rocket boosters and jet engines, with an illuminated edge band that wraps around a cylinder and an inner core that shines bright. By combining black PLA and translucent PLA, you can create a unique effect where certain geometries are masked out while others glow in the dark. I've been waiting to design specifically for dual extrusion printers like the Ultimaker 3, and this project is the perfect opportunity. Code, build instructions, and source files are available at learn.adafruit.com/neopixel-headlight/. To get started, you'll need an Adafruit Feather M4 Express, a 24 NeoPixel Ring, a 7 NeoPixel Jewel, a 2200mAh 3.7V Battery, a Toggle Switch, and an RGB LED Metal Button. All the necessary 3D parts can be found in the Adafruit CAD Parts library on GitHub at github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CAD_Parts.
With this file you will be able to print NeoPixel Bike Light with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on NeoPixel Bike Light.
