NeoPixel Bike Light
cults3d
Build a futuristic bike light using the Adafruit Feather and NeoPixels. Add an RGB LED button to switch between different colors and animations, perfectly matching the NeoPixels' hues. The headlight's design was inspired by rocket boosters and jet engines, featuring an illuminated edge band wrapped around a cylinder with a glowing inner core. By combining black PLA and translucent PLA, you can create complex designs while highlighting specific features. This project is optimized for dual extrusion 3D printing, specifically the Ultimaker 3. Code, build instructions, and source files are available at https://learn.adafruit.com/neopixel-headlight/. Required components include the Adafruit Feather M4 Express (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3857), a 24 NeoPixel Ring (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1586), a 7 NeoPixel Jewel (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2226), a 2200mAh 3.7V Battery (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1781), a Toggle Switch (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3221), and an RGB LED Metal Button (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3350).
