This is a protective diffuser cover designed specifically for a NeoPixel 24 LED ring. Given the intense brightness of most LEDs, it's essential to shield both those viewing the LEDs and the LEDs themselves from excessive light exposure. A semi-transparent shroud accomplishes this task effectively. The cover was printed using clear ProtoPasta PLA filament, though any translucent material would serve the purpose adequately. Experimenting with different color transparent filaments as filters could yield intriguing effects. Six wiring pass-through points are strategically positioned to align with the solder pads on the ring, allowing for versatile mounting options.
