A remarkably straightforward and unexpectedly dependable magnetic lift system. It's incredibly lightweight, making it suitable for use in robots such as deltas. I've utilized an MG90S servo paired with a neodymium magnet measuring d:8mm h:10mm. Initially, the servo proved to be slightly too feeble to dislodge the magnet from heavy objects, so I incorporated a plastic disc to increase the gap between the magnet and object. This modification enables the system to securely hold even 150g steel objects with ease.
