Pledge as little as $5 or up to $1250, and we'll provide 10 NEODiVRjr BASICs, a full day of training, and education on creating VR environments for training, simulations, or games. Kickstarter Campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1332434559/neodivrjr-the-magic-of-vr-for-kids-only Printing Instructions To get started, print the STL files at 100% infill with a .15-.2 layer height. Ensure all parts lie flat except for the two hinge posts, which should be printed upright. You may not need supports; our verified and print-ready STLs are already oriented for printing. Preferred Printing Materials: PLA PLA is the preferred material for this project, and most parts will print without additional care or preparation. However, if you do encounter issues, sand and finish the parts as needed. The total printing time should be around three hours. Assembly Steps 1. Attach the Center Hinge Posts (2) to the Lens Body using epoxy or super glue. Wait at least an hour before proceeding. 2. Insert a straightened paper clip through the hinge pieces on the lens body and support arms. Trim the ends flush with wire cutters, then add a touch of epoxy or super glue to secure it in place. 3. Verify proper rotation of the support arms, ensuring they don't exceed 100 degrees and fold smoothly against the lens holder bracket. 4. Sand and file the edges, paint if necessary, and check the fit with your iPhone 6. If too tight, sand the opening accordingly. Insert Lenses Carefully insert the lenses into both lens holes until they rest on the small ridge at the bottom of the lens bracket. If the lens seems loose, add a drop of clear plastic glue. Do not use super glue, and avoid getting it on the viewing surface. Install Google Cardboard App Download and install the Google Cardboard app onto your phone, then either use the default 2015 setting or attach the provided QR code to the outside of the arm for seamless integration. Paper Version Option For a budget-friendly alternative, cut out the attached "paper" version from 60+ weight paper and create a super-cheap paper VR viewer.
