This is a pen holder for the Neo Smartpen N2 (http://shop.neosmartpen.com/collections/frontpage). It allows one to attach the pen to the N professional notebook (http://shop.neosmartpen.com/collections/n-notebook/products/n-notebook-5) as designed, but shimming or modification can be made to allow it to be attached to any compatible notebook. This also provides a self-standing dock (looks nice) for charging and two slots for additional refills. As a heads-up, the applied design is done using vinyl and a Cricut Explorer Air cutting machine (https://shop.cricut.com/en_us/machines/cricut-explore-air.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw5ti3BRD89aDFnb3SxPcBEiQAssnp0rjv0mluiTTbxTTuGrxfUm5l4GxpoR62-pjpLh72BxAaAlpz8P8HAQ). Print Settings Printer: Flaahforge Creator Pro Infill: hex Notes: I printed this with several print bed setups (glass+hair spray, glue stick, buildtak). The best results were achieved via the buildtak, hands down. Orientation is critical to the print; I highly recommend printing the part in vertical orientation and printing inside to outer layers. Note that this will eat up a pen cap as it captures the pen in order to hold it in place...As a heads-up, there still needs to be some tweaking to get the pen cap to fit better....It's a bit tight as it is now. I just got some more caps in ($10 each from NeoPen) and plan to update the fit so it's not as tight... How I Designed This Onshape I used standard 3D modeling techniques using Onshape. Once in your workspace, you can fully edit everything including any feature I may have used to create the model...Very handy and much more versatile than scaling or boolean operations.
