The iconic nemes headdress, first appearing in the early 3rd Dynasty under Djoser's rule, is almost exclusively worn by kings in ancient representations. Its use on standards symbolizing the royal ka underscores its importance to the concept of kingship. Starting from the 18th Dynasty, it's often depicted alongside other crowns. Notably, the Pyramid Texts refer to this headdress as "nws" and link it with Re-Khepri at dawn. The Coffin Texts further solidify its connection to Horus by stating that he gifted his father Osiris with this headdress to facilitate his rebirth. In representations of sphinxes or falcons, the king dons the nemes, embodying the royal titles "Horus" and "Son of Re". A 3D model (medium poly) featuring textures and materials effectively conveys its regal essence.
