To enhance stability, I added two extra attachments to the frame and adjusted the motor position upward for a more level Y-belt. The original printbed attachment height caused a 0.8 micrometer difference per millimeter, so I modified this for better accuracy. The plastic extrusion holes were also made slightly smaller for increased strength. The part size was increased to 72mm as the original 70mm did not fit properly; ensure your measurement requirements match this distance between extrusions. Note that some plastic may protrude underneath the extrusion, but this is acceptable for default Mendelmax designs. Modify the openscad file if necessary for alternative configurations. The original design specification of 68mm between extrusions seems unconventional; adjust accordingly based on your specific requirements among various Mendelmax variations. The printed orange PLAs part weighs approximately 42 grams with the specified settings.
