I'm working on an interactive installation called Spinoxa, which is hosted online at http://www.tadaex.com/2016/artists/ashkan-gh/. The mount I used was attached to a wooden frame using screws. The stepper motor I chose is the Astrosyn My17HD1-2, a NEMA 17 model available on their website. For slicing, I relied on Cura and it worked out well, but I suspect that the design might encounter issues with Simplify if it's not first repaired with Netfabb due to its origin in C4D.
