These are some dampers specifically designed for NEMA 17 stepper motors. They were printed using soft PLA, although other flexible filaments could also be used successfully. To achieve the perfect firmness, consider applying z-scaling to adjust their hardness. I opted for a 20% infill ratio in my prints. This design pairs well with my printer coasters available on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1625387 An update has been added since posting this item: A cutout from an old bicycle tire was suggested as an alternative, and it may indeed provide even better results. If you have access to an old bike tire, please experiment with it and share your findings.
