Human: 5x8 Oldham coupler for NEMA17 steppers on 8mm lead screws. Length 35mm, diameter 20mm (commercially available ones are 33x20mm). There is surprisingly very little play, and the assembly slides smoothly. Some action : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWa5ihTXM7E Print at 0.2mm with no additional brim or supports (required supports are part of the STL) : https://youtu.be/RKpWhwiRadc ** NEW : a short 26mm version.** But it hasn't been tested. ** NEW : a 10mm rod version.** Not tested either *BOM :* - 4 M3x12mm bolts and assorted nuts - Lithium grease, or any kind of fluid but thick grease *Post print :* - Grind the parts by sliding them against one another. And as the assembly will take an affinity in a specific layout, trace a mounting mark with a soft-tip pen. - Top/bottom orientation of the central part can be identified by the direction of the surface lines inside the slits: oblique on the top side, straight under the bridge. - Cut the 8mm clamp(s) away from its(their) support grid, don't bother removing the grid as it helps keeping the collet straight against the assembly. - Apply a generous amount of grease on the surfaces and slits before use. - Leave a slight play (less than 1mm). Adjustment can be made by sliding either side. **As a matter of fact, it won't be able to hold any weight and has to be used with bearings / thrust bearings** **For the Tevo Tarantula see this for the Z axis** : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2379659 as well as this spacer printed with a 10mm thickness : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26126
