Nema14 Geared Mini extruder
thingiverse
To create a compact and powerful extruder for the "Beiwagerl" Mini Printer, Daniel and I designed a new extruder model blending elements from my Uni-X Wade and the Nano-Extruder. It accommodates various single-mount hotends like Mendel-parts, reprapfab, groove mount (J-head), and more. A key improvement is moving the idler screw to the idler itself for easy cleaning. The extruder is designed primarily for 1.75mm filament with a brass insert, although it can also use 3mm filament. Be aware that there are two versions available: one with 40mm mounting holes and another with 50mm holes. Instructions and necessary parts (2x128 ZZ bearings, 8x12x3.5mm bolts, 1x624ZZ idler bearing, a strong Nema 14 stepper motor) are provided, along with assembly guidance through pictures.
