Customize cylindrical mounts for NEMA motors of any size in your desired dimensions. This feature also offers a slotted version for motor adjustment and allows you to preview the difference with a fake base. The tool now works seamlessly within the customizer. Additionally, a hole for the shaft is provided optionally. A counter-sunk hex nut shape and a counter-sunk area for the pilot (circle on the front of the stepper motor) are also available as optional features. However, be cautious while using the provided numbers as they may not be accurate; please cross-check with your specific motor before printing. UPDATE 2013/10/15: Corrections have been made to the sizes previously mentioned. To use this tool, save the file NEMAMount.scad in your .scad file and insert the following code within a difference block: ```scad // Your base (e.g., cube([100, 100, 10])) NEMA_Mount(NEMA_Size, shaft, pilot, height, nut_size, nut_height, adjust); ``` Make sure to specify the NEMA size from a list of available options (e.g., NEMA_Size = 23), shaft clearance hole dimensions, pilot mounting indentation diameter, height of the mounting and shaft holes, size of the nut head, height of the nut head, distance the motor can slide in the mount, and whether to display a sample base with the NEMA mount subtracted. Please refer to massmind.org/techref/io/stepper/nemasizes.htm for information on NEMA sizes.
