I wanted to set up a Nema 6-20 outlet in my garage, but the hardware store only had Nema 6-20 cord end plugs available. I decided to purchase the plug and create this custom outlet face plate adapter instead. Now I can easily install this as a standard outlet in my garage. Thanks for the help.\r\n\r\nPS: This adapter is designed specifically for an American standard 1 gang electrical box.
