NEMA 23 Stepper Motor Cable Tidy
thingiverse
I was seeking an ultra-compact solution to connect a "proper" cable to a stepper motor featuring the standard 4 x floppy wires. The design is optimized for wire with an 8mm cross-section, but the slot in the cable outlet is designed to accommodate a cable tie and can grip down to 6mm or smaller, albeit with a modification or some filing. It's intended to be attached using epoxy glue, primarily for compactness, and there should never be any need to remove it. There's just enough space in the box area to contain a set of spliced wires plus heatshrink. Cut the wires as short as possible while still being able to solder the connections. You'll definitely need support. Print with the large flat face facing down.
