These are back covers for Nema 23 and Nema 24 motors. Features include a wire channel and cover, a mount for a 4 pole ~16mm connector, and a rear axle cover which keeps it from rubbing on wires. The package includes the following motor covers: Nema 23 (56.4mm motor diameter) e.g. 23H276-28-4B - Nema 23 cover with straight connector - Nema 23 cover with a 90 degree angle connector - Nema 23 cover with a 90 degree angle connector - Large version with more room between end of connector and cap making it easier to screw the connector in Nema 24 (60mm motor diameter) e.g. 24H290-35-4B - Nema 24 cover with straight connector - Nema 24 cover with a 90 degree angle connector - Nema 24 cover with a 90 degree angle connector - Large version with more room between end of connector and cap making it easier to screw the connector in The caps are secured to the stepper motor with 4 M3 screws. Installation of the connector: fit the cap, route wires through the connector hole, cut wires to correct length (tip: coil wires inside the cap for additional length), remove cap, route stepper wires through connector nut, then through hole in the cap (from inside out). Solder them to the connector. Place nut over connector hole and screw connector into nut through the cap. For small 90 degree version, ensure wires do not twist around each other or connector. Tricky but doable with ~2 turns of the connector for a tight fit. For more room, print large version.
