In the works of converting a SIEG X2D Mill into a CNC Machine and wanted a way to not only hide but to protect the end shaft with style. The spinning knob can be removed and the manual handles can be placed on when needed. When i have time i plan to update the end cap to incorporate some type of wire protector, however i feel that i will skip out on a redesign and simply just make a part that i can install by drilling out some holes into the end cap and slipping on a separate piece that just snaps into place. Also i was unable to find a pre-modeled Nema 23 motor that fit the dimensions of the ones i bought from Automation Technologies Inc so i simply measured out mine and modeled around that. However simply scaling the model might allow it to fit your needs.
