Nema 17hs4401 Step Motor Mount for WALL-e Robot Replica
thingiverse
Hello everyone, This is a remix for the motor mount of the Wall-E replica. Since I didn't have DC motors available, I opted to modify the existing motor mounts to accommodate stepper motors instead. As expected, code modifications are necessary to ensure seamless operation. I'm taking on this Wall-e project without relying on Raspberry Pi, so I'll be writing the entire code from scratch. Once I complete the code, I'll share the results with you all. To reinforce the connection between the stepper gear and motor, I added a custom-made stepper gear to the setup. However, upon printing it, I noticed that the gear was loose. To resolve this issue, I applied some tape to secure the stepper motor in place and integrated the gear effectively. Furthermore, a small amount of glue was needed to ensure everything stayed put. Additionally, I modified the gear's design by reducing its hole size, but I haven't had a chance to test it yet. If you encounter any issues with this setup, please let me know so we can work through them together.
