nema 17 z axis assembly
thingiverse
This is a z axis assembly I design for my custom 3d printer called VectaPrint Odyssey, boasting a substantial build volume of 2 cubic feet. The machine features a glass-surfaced heated bed that facilitates smooth printing operations. These parts were printed at an impressive rate of 40mm per second with a precise layer height of 0.20mm. Notably, the design allows for mirrored usage on either side, making them reversible and versatile enough to be used in a single z axis setup for an SLA printer. The assembly can be constructed using the included bushing or 608z bearings, which I opted for instead. Linear motion is achieved through the use of LM8UU pillow blocks, and I've also provided a mockup of the printed pillow block design for those who may prefer to print their own.
