Nema 17 Y Laser support
thingiverse
This is a versatile attachment system designed for rapid assembly and disassembly of laser modules onto Nema17 motors, specifically those found on 3D printer extruders, effectively converting them into laser CNC machines. Since different laser modules have unique requirements, no holes are drilled for screws to accommodate various designs, allowing users to easily modify the system by editing FreeCAD sources or drilling custom fittings as needed. The primary motivation behind this design was to create a modular laser system that could be effortlessly installed on my extruder, enabling me to switch between different laser modules with ease and completely remove the system without having to deal with screws. Additionally, I utilize this attachment for securing cable chains, as demonstrated. Given the extensive network of wires connecting to my extruder, which includes several FTP cables used for convenience, a substantial cable chain is necessary to manage these connections effectively.
