NEMA 17 to 40mm Fan Adapter

To cool your hot NEMA 17 extruder motor, I designed an adapter for a 40mm fan. The adapter comes in two types, one for motors with "soft wires" and another for those with more rigid wire keepers. It features ducts directing air over the four sides of the motor, away from the hot end or print. To mount the fan, use a 6-32 screw without a nut (3mm screw with nut otherwise) that protrudes 1/4" or 3mm past the adapter's base to ensure optimal airflow.
