NEMA 17 Stepper Mount

Print my custom NEMA 17 motor mount, designed for use with MakerBot's standard stepper motors. Despite other options on Thingiverse, this mount suits specific needs by fitting 1" x 1" (25mm x 25mm) 80/20 series 10 aluminum T-slot framing. Holes accommodate 1/4" (M6) bolts, compatible with 80/20's T-bolts. Printing takes approximately an hour and requires a heated build platform to prevent warping. Ensure proper centering of the XY platform due to mount's 83mm width. For extra strength, print raft on face of mount; if omitting raft, perfect HBP leveling is necessary. Set Skeinforge's INFILL DENSITY in FILL to .2 for optimal print results. Post-printing involves X-Acto knife removal of excess plastic and 1/8" (M3) drill bit cleaning of motor mount holes; 2 1/4" (M6) frame-mounting holes also require X-Acto knife cleanup.
