Nema 17 Stepper Motor Mounts
thingiverse
I use this combo of support and bracket mounts for my Nema 17 Stepper motor. I reach for them on just about every project I tackle. First up is a solid shroud that securely attaches between the stepper and a perpendicular surface. Initially designed to replace the fragile stand-off mounting on my CTC/Flashforge 3D printer, this versatile shroud now finds use in securing a stepper motor for instance in a CoreXY stage. Standing 25mm high, it provides ample clearance over the standard 24mm shaft of a Nema17 stepper and plenty of room for a belt to pass through easily. Its rugged construction demands the use of M3 x 30mm+ bolts. The other bracket mount is an ultra-lightweight affair, perfect for lighter jobs that require mounting your stepper parallel to a flat surface like in an XY stage setup. It attaches firmly on either the front or rear of the stepper, offering the added bonus of increased strength with dual attachments.
