Since the motor wouldn't generate excessive heat, this customized approach made sense and offered significant cost savings. Moreover, despite the lengthy printing time of six hours at high resolution, it was actually faster than Amazon's express delivery service. If you find this meets your needs, simply load the Sketchup model, push-pull the underside of the base to adjust the height as desired, and voila! You're done. *Note:* The motor mount screw holes and armature hole are slightly oversized to allow for micro-adjustments in shaft alignment.
