NEMA 17 Stepper motor end mount for 2020 Extrusion
thingiverse
This is a revised version of my well-known Nema 17 Stepper motor standoff bracket. This box attaches to the end of a 2020 aluminum extrusion for configurations where the belt runs inside the slots, offering simplicity and sleekness. It consists of two parts: The main body and a cover plate. A slot on the side provides easy access to the set screws of the pulley for fine-tuning adjustments. It is securely attached to the extrusion using T-nuts. The holes are precisely 4mm in diameter, designed specifically for this purpose. To assemble the unit, you will need M3x28-30 bolts to secure the steppers and M4x8mm + T-Nuts to attach the assembly firmly in place. Additionally, there is ample surface area available for mounting limit switches, making it an ideal setup for various applications. I plan to share a detailed design of my H-bot machine soon, which will feature this assembly as its core component.
